The Location : Stunning! The beautiful village of Lèhon is full of character and known as ‘La Petite Cité de Caractère’ situated in the river valley. Take a walk along the towpath across the road from the property to the very sought after ‘Port de Dinan’ (15 min), Here the pretty quay is lined with an excellent choice of waterside restaurants. In the opposite direction, this takes you to the very peaceful Breton countryside, either way is perfect for walking, cycling or just taking a picnic, the choice is yours! Two adult bikes are available at the property for your use!
Amenities In The Village : Léhon is very popular for it’s friendly restaurant ‘La Marmite de L’Abbyee’ serving very tasty, reasonably priced traditional French cuisine. To add to this! There is an excellent boulangerie/pâtisserie “Lerouilly” offering a selection of delicious pâtisseries, croissants, pains aux chocolates together with fresh baguettes and loaves for your day-to-day requirements. Further up the road from the ‘boulangerie’ there is the village ‘boucherie’ (butchers).
Lèhon’s Outdoor Heated swimming Pool Complex: Ideal for all the family! Situated in the village next to the Abbey. ‘Les Pommiers’, welcomes you to their outdoor heated swimming pool complex, comprising of 3 swimming pools: one large pool with toboggan: 25 m x 15 m (depth 2 m) the second pool 12 m x 6 m (depth 1 m) a paddling pool and solarium. This complex is open all year round and is a 5 min walk from the property.
The Sandy Beaches : 20 min drive from the property you have a choice of 11 golden sandy beaches at St Jacut de la Mer and further afield more beaches, boutiques, restaurants/bars and a stunning marina at the seaside resort at Saint Cast Plage. There are many more beautiful beaches dotted along the Emerald Coastline, the choice is endless!
About the property : Quai du Val was formally the riverside village boat house and has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The property has to offer, light, spacious and very comfortable accommodation, retaining the feeling of a very cosy family home. There is direct access from the kitchen to the secluded outside dining terrace. This is a wonderful south facing area where you can relax and enjoy the benefits of the glorious sunshine all day long. Furnished with garden table and chairs, 2 sun loungers and a Weber BBQ.
From the terrace, you have access to the decked patio area, boasting beautiful country views of the rance and the peaceful surrounding countryside. This outside area is equipped with lcd garden lighting, so for those of you who are ‘night owls’! the patio is ideal for those long warm summer evenings or for just watching the boats pass by…..
Parking : The entrance to the property has secure front gates and parking for 2 cars.

Great property in an ideal location. The property had everything we needed and more for a self catering family break. Travelled with older children who were happy with WiFi and Sky TV!! Lovely walk along canal path into Dinan where we enjoyed a few meals and spent time boating on the river. The village itself where the property is located has a nice French restaurant which we enjoyed one evening as well as a bakery to get morning croissants etc. Travelling distance to St Malo and other Brittany tourist destinations. Would recommend and will visit again ourselves in the future. Thank you to the property owners for a great family week in France.

We found Quai du Val a well equipped home with high quality sheets and towels. The village of Lehon is charming and we received a warm welcome from Madame Borgnic at the village restaurant. My husband and I had a very enjoyable relaxing winter break at Quai du Val. We were delighted to find the property very clean and very well presented. We also appreciated the warm and cosy ambiance during those cold winter evenings. The property really has so much to offer! We loved the master bedroom, the Queen bed was exceptionally comfortable and the river views from the port hole were wonderful even in the winter sunshine! We would without any hesitation recommend Quai du Val to anybody seeking one of those rare gems…..Thank you Judith, very memorable, we will be back….

Amazing river views, what a privilege we had staying at Quai du Val. Everything was very clean and beautifully kept. Great care has been taken, the property has been renovated to a very high standard and is beautifully decorated throughout, we absolutely adored it. What an excellent base for visiting the surrounding area, so much to do and see! The walks and cycle paths along the river are really lovely and well worth a visit.

What a wonderful location, we had a fabulous holiday at Quai du Val, the property is very well maintained, well equipped, cosy and has very comfortable spacious accommodation. The views from the property of the river rance are stunning. We made use of the 2 adult bikes and had a great time cycling along the river tow paths. We definitely recommend this beautiful property for all it has to offer and we will certainly be returning very soon. Thank you for everything Judith

Beautiful riverside property offering everything you could possibly need !
Beautiful riverside property offering everything you could possibly need for a very happy and relaxing family holiday. A real plus! just a short walking distance from the village bakers and the very friendly local restaurant serving excellent food. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the heated outdoor pool complex and we enjoyed chilling out on the sun terrace and our long walks along the peaceful river tow paths!
