These upmarket, beautifully furnished American style cottages are situated in the very popular Edwardian sea-side resort of Dinard. They are found within minuites drive of the beautiful sandy beaches and the town center where you will find fabulous restaurants and designer shops, not forgetting the famous Dinard Casino.

This is defiantly a perfect holiday location, an endless choice of activities for all the family, easily reached by car or public transport. Dinard itself has plenty to offer, but also serves as an excellent base from which to explore the sights of Northern Brittany.

Two beautifully furnished bedrooms with pine flooring, each with ensuite bathroom.

ABOUT DINARD

This unique elegant Edwardian seaside resort of Dinard, with its magnificent buildings and charming ambience, enjoys a lovely setting at the mouth of the river Rance, directly opposite you have Saint Malo.

Dinard has several beautiful sandy beaches to choose from. The main beach (la Plage de l'Écluse) is a leisurely stroll away (less than 15 minutes) with its safe bathing, children’s beach club and a choice of many water sports, this is also popular for its designer shops,the indoor heated salt-water swimming pool and the bustling nightlife at the Casino.

Walks can be taken from here in both directions along the coastline, providing you with wonderful panoramas of sea and landscape. The other beach "La Plage du Prieuré", also very easily reached on foot from the cottages, offers a quieter alternative.

Dinard is one of the more fashionable of the French resorts, retaining an elegance and charm not often found in other modern seaside towns. Apart from the beautiful beaches and bathing pools, it has many varied activities to offer: there are boat cruises out into the bay or up the River Rance, scenic coastal walks; beautiful parks; an 18-hole golf course; horse riding and tennis courts.

ABOUT THE SURROUNDING AREA

Mary's Cottages are within very easy reach (7 kms) of the beautiful ancient walled town of St Malo with its attractive narrow winding cobbled streets and hosts of wonderful restaurants. Just across the bay, the picturesque fishing village of Cancale, famed for its oyster beds, this is also well worth a visit.

Explore at your leisure the charming quaint town of Dinan (12 km) with picturesque buildings and medieval castle and ramparts. Further afield the Mont. St. Michel, the 8th century, hilltop town and Abbey is only 40 kilometres away on the Normandy border

The ferry port of St Malo is about 15 min drive from Mary's Cottages and 10 min from International Airport at Dinard.

Brittany Ferries channel crossing: Portsmouth-St Malo, Condor Ferries have a daily car and passenger service from Weymouth and Poole to St Malo (May to September). Dinard International Airport (Ryan Airways, Stanstead, East Midlands, Birmingham & Bristol to Dinard) : discounted flights available if you book well in advance.
