Delightful spacious Longère (Farmhouse) south facing, situated in a small secluded farming hamlet, surrounded by meadows, this lovely property enjoys a very peaceful situation, ideal for family holidays with plenty of space for children to play in.

La Haute Mettrie is only 5 mins drive from the delightful golden sandy beaches and small coves of St Jacut de la Mer, this is a charming village where you will find a number of small shops, bars, restaurants and activities such as tennis, sailing, canoeing and bike hire.

All your immediate needs are found at the local village of Ploubalay (1.5kms) these include: 3 Supermarkets, Fishmonger, Butchers, Bakeries, Banks, Newsagent, Chemist, Bars, 2 restaurants and a Pizziria/Creperie.  

 THE SURROUNDING AREA:

 

La Haute Mettrie is within very easy reach of the beautiful ancient walled town of St Malo with its attractive narrow winding cobbled streets and hosts of wonderful restaurants.  Even closer is the elegant Edwardian seaside resort of Dinard with lovely fine sandy beaches, children’s beach club and a choice of many water sports, this is also popular for its designer shops and the bustling nightlife at the Casino. Explore at your leisure the charming quaint town of Dinan with picturesque buildings and medieval castle and ramparts.

Simply furnished in a typical French rustic style. The house has oil fired central heating which makes it warm and cosy in the winter and pleasantly cool in the summer.

BOOKING & LETTING INFORMATION

Payment requested in euros by either INT bank transfer or payment onsite. (Please enquire for further details)

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking.

The remaining balance and the security deposit are payable 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. Bookings made within 6 weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

Change overs are from Saturday 16 hrs / Saturday 10 hrs in the high season period, however this can be altered in low and middle season.

♦  During cold spells (from October to April), guests will be accountable for the electricity they consume at local tariff rates.

 Duvets and pillows provided. (Bed linen and towel service available at an extra cost on request).

  Long Winter lets available at very reasonable rates, please contact us for further details.

Logs for the fire free of charge all year round.
